We are heading to the beach tomorrow!! Woot!
So for a quick post before we leave, I thought I would show my page for the Random Chaos challenge blog. This week’s challenge is to use hand-stitching, scallops, chipboard letters and a heart. Most of the items for this page came from the May Paper-Playground kit, including all the American Crafts Amplified paper, the American Crafts ribbon, the buttons, and the Anna Griffin fabric brads. I did add the alphabets and used a heart stamp from Hero Arts in my journaling. The scallops were pieced together from individual 1/2 inch circles I punched out using a Stampin’Up punch. That made it possible for me to interchange the colors along the scalloped border.
The picture is of Nicole on her 9th birthday last year. She looks so happy holding her “tower” of presents. I hope I wrote down somewhere what she got, because I can’t even remember what was in those packages! Maybe there are some other photos that can help me out there.
Well, now it’s time for me to finish up the packing! Have a great night.
